Overall Condition: Very Good. This book weighs 1.5 KG when packed. First edition, limited edition in half calf binding of Reginald Blunt’s collection of. This limited edition is signed by the author to the verso of the title page. This copy is number 49 out of 105 copies. Reginald Blunt CBE was a historian from Chelsea, London. He founded the History of Chelsea Society which is still in existence today. Includes 26 monochrome plates, and a colour plate as the front piece. Gold engraved lettering to the spine. Ink scribble over the plate facing page 20. In half calf binding. Some bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Some discolouration to the spine. Small stain to the front board. The front piece is slightly torn, as is its tissue guard. Pages are bright and clean. There are a few tide marks and spots throughout. There is an ink scribble across the plate facing page 20. Fine – Very well preserved copy showing very little wear. Only one or two minor faults, really a very attractive copy. Quite a wide term meaning no major faults but probably several smaller ones. Often expected given the age of the book, but still a respectable copy. Meaning not very good. Some more serious faults as will. Be described in the condition report under’condition. Good Only – Meaning one or more faults that could really do with repair. As with good only above but with other faults. Leaving a compromised copy even after repair.
