Woodblock engraving and Burren craftsman. He is a member of the Japan Print Association. He taught himself woodblock printing while he was a student at Kokugakuin University, and after graduating, he studied under Matashiro Uchikawa, a traditional woodblock printmaker and rubber, and learned materials, tools, and techniques.
