It was one of those utterly beautiful summer days when I visited the island and was treated to a lovely display of blues and brown/violets colors as the sun stayed in the sky. Santorini is one of the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea. It was devastated by a volcanic eruption in the 16th century BC, forever shaping its rugged landscape. The island’s beauty, the crystal clear blue water of the sea, and cubiform houses cling to the cliff above an underwater crater make the memories and impressions unforgettable.
