HMS VICTORY Copper piece of Sheathing. Full size peice of copper sheathing used to line the hull of HMS victory, removed during restoration works. In very original condition with the virdigris still left on the piece. Theres is also the remains of the tar/ pitch used when attaching the copper to the hull. It has the makers mark punched into the copper. It reads Clifford 28oz. There Is a Certificate of provenance to prove it is from the victory. Very nice peice for a collector. The dimensions of the sheathing is 122cm long and 36cm wide. I will also include a few nails that used to secure this sheet onto the hull. Only the heads are left as they were so corroded when they were removed.
